Knitting in the Wild

Narrator with dramatic Steve Irwin type inflections: Crikey, what is that? It's some sort of weird craft that I haven't seen in a long time.

(She slowly, carefully sneaks up upon it.)

Hmm, I think it might be genuine (pause) knitting. I think we've found actual knitting folks. Now this is a craft that has, it seems, become rare within blog. What we have appears to be a small gauge swatch, not legitimate knitting of the long term. But still knitting! And, occasionally the gauge swatch brings (pause) the casting on of an actual project. Hmm, we can only hope.

Chanelling David Attenborough (in a quiet whisper she says) - it's very unusual to see one of these in the wild. They were almost thought to be extinct at one stage.
