Prison Break

Yesterday, I spent the day in prison. Eastern State Penitentiary to be exact. Two of my friends and I went for the tour. The prison opened is 1829 and was in operation until 1971. It's in a state of semi-ruin, making it kind of creepy and cool.
We visited Death Row and solitary confinement. We saw where Al Capone stayed when he was housed there. We saw the synagogue, which was recently restored. We learned about the dog held prisoner there and the cats that moved in after the prison closed.
Luckily, they let us leave. We went for a delicious lunch. It was a great outing.
