If Only I Had a Tree House

You know how I'm kind of obsessed with the arboretum?

I love the trees, sitting on a bench writing, hearing the rustle of the leaves from breeze and catching a quick look at groundhogs and chipmunks.

And I'm also kind of obsessed with fall colors... the way trees change and how they slowly, surely shed their leaves as they prepare for a winter hibernation.

Yep, I visited yesterday for a dose of my two obsessions. It was relaxing, beautiful, wonderful and delightful. Just what I needed.....

Leaf Catching

We're firmly in leaf kicking season for her. I kick 'em high and she tries to catch them on their float back down to Earth. Every walk we play this game. Definitely amusing and fun.....

My super duper crazy work life is starting to get back down to just crazy. I'm looking forward to having a bit more time for some fall crafting, baking and photography. I can hardly wait. I need to nurture my creative side a bit. It's been too long.

Sure Sign....

You know it's fall. The pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe came out yesterday and I baked up a batch. Their delicious loveliness is calling me right now. Yum!

Pumpkins, Cider, and Life

Off enjoying the fall.... apple picking, a visit to the pumpkin patch.... drinking cider, eating apple cider donuts, stockpiling butternut squash. Ahh, fall!

This weekend, I'm off to the wineries for a tasting.

It's just a delightful season! I love the harvest, the changes, the brisk air, the colors of the trees, the smells and warmth of a cardigan.

Autumn is in the Air
