And actually almos...I struggle with this every day. And actually almost the reverse. My daughter is 7 now (and my son is 4) and we do totally raise them differently without noticing! My daughter however has decided she hates all girly things and won't wear pink, ruffles, dress shoes, dresses and won't even watch a princess movie. I'm okay with that and don't fight her on it. But I also don't want her to rule out things without giving them a chance. And I don't want her to hate girls who DO like those things.It's always a struggle!
